Sculptural Works

In my three-dimensional works I am guided by the haptic experience of traditional and modern materials for creative expression. Each medium has its own characteristics and inspires me to either reduced forms or more playful structures. I am particularly fascinated by transformative processes creating a new context for objects. Projection and transformation are reflected thematically in my sculptural works.

Drawing

My starting point is mostly figurative. Beyond pure naturalistic representation, I challenge myself to peel out the figurative essence by reducing forms and emphasizing main lines. The condensation and concentration of the figurative formal model are a school of vision and communication of one’s own representative idea. I rely on a wide range of means of expression and styles to reflect the visual effect of the initial drawing subject.
