Claude Breutel
Next to my work as an insurance and risk manager, I have developed myself over the past 20 years in numerous courses as a sculptural designer and in drawing techniques.
In 2026, I founded the CB G&A Gallery and Atelier in Basel. Here, I work on my own projects and invite like-minded people to joining workshops to develop artistically.
At the Scuola di Scultura, Peccia, Ticino, I was able to immerse myself in stone sculpture with well-known artists (Hansulrich Beer, Roland Hotz, Daniel Hardmeier, Alex Naef, Lilian Hasler).
I have developed a special passion for working in plaster and for moulding to copy and reproduce three-dimensional objects. I learned the various techniques from Alex Naef and Almute Grossmann-Naef, Martin Roedel and Thomas Hunziker.
A special affection of mine is figurative drawing. I received impulses in this respect from the circle of artists around MOTTATOM (Geneva) and from Daniel Stiefel.
My artistic activity is rounded up with various printing techniques. Form-finding and expression in etching, drypoint and in wood and linocut printing complement my pictorial work.
