Stone
Working with stone is a dialogue between resistance and progression. The stone reveals its core, and under its shell a form is gradually revealed. The resulting sculpture is the material manifestation of an idea that takes shape.
Most of the stone work was created at the Scuola di Scultura in Peccia. The marble quarried there is the starting material for sculptures featuring reduced forms. They are landscapes that give space to light and shadow and allow the stone to reveal its inner life.
Smaller works are carried out in yellow and reddish limestone from the Swiss Jura.
